PROJECT

This ambitious private conservation initiative establishes a 135,000Ha buffer zone between Mozambique and South Africa’s iconic Kruger National Park. The project uses low-impact but high-value development as a vehicle to fund conservation in perpetuity.

WHAT WE DID

We created a detailed set of design and sustainability guidelines that control the planning, landscape and architectural character of each development node. The guidelines have been tailor made to deliver locally relevant sustainability solutions to a 5-star product in a remote and extreme environment. We now maintain a role as part of the Design Review Committee.
