Libya National Park
Misdah & Cyrene, Libya
PROJECT
Libya has been in the news for all the wrong reasons in the past decade. However, prior to the collapse of the regime there was a government-backed initiative to create two new national parks that aimed to reintroduce lost desert species and protect one of the oldest and most important Ancient Greek cities in the region; Cyrene.

WHAT WE DID
Working as part of a consultant team led by EDI (Eco-Development International), we helped to shape the project vision, write the business case and identify the core development zones.

The breadth of Libya’s natural and cultural assets is little known. We hope that one day stability will return to this extraordinary country and its people.
